As we approach 2030, significant challenges remain in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Yet global efforts towards a sustainable future will not end with the current 2030 Agenda. On the contrary, the need for continued engagement, perhaps in new forms, will become even more pressing.

Please register before 4th of November at Post-Agenda 2030 – What happens next? | Sustainability Forum.

Through invited speakers, this seminar explores the impact and future of Agenda 2030. Drawing on perspectives from research, the United Nations and government, we will examine how the agenda has shaped global and local development and consider what may come next. What are the possible pathways if a new, ambitious agenda emerges – or if no overarching framework is established at all? And what role should science play in the discussions to come, shaping the next phase of global sustainability efforts?

The seminar will conclude with a panel discussion in which invited speakers reflect on the future of global sustainability governance. Together, they will discuss the possible roles of a new agenda, what form it might take, and its potential implications for sustainable development in the years ahead.
