The Centre for Engineering Education (CEE) is LTH's pedagogical hub.
The CEE has four areas of activity:
- The academic development unit, Genombrottet, that offers pedagogical courses, consultancy, seminars and other activities that support academics in their role as teachers.
- Courses and activities that support doctoral students and academics in their roles as researchers and supervisors.
- Supplemental Instruction, a peer guided, group based activity to help students at LTH and in the secondary school to succeed in their studies.
- The foundation year program, Teknisk basår, that leads to fulfilment of the admission requirements to the engineering programmes at LTH.
In addition, CEE supports the management of LTH by participating in working groups and boards. CEE works closely with corresponding units at university level. The staff of CEE are either full-time academic staff employed at CEE, part-time academics affiliated to a department at LTH, or administrative staff at the Faculty Office of LTH.
