Abstract

AI agents are making it easier for citizens to interact with government, but that appears to be driving surges in demand for government services. In a new paper, we call those surges “agentic flooding”. This talk covers the three questions we address in the work: how widespread is agentic flooding already, how big is the risk, and what could governments do about it?
