Dear members of the Circular Building Sector Profile Area, We are pleased to invite you to the second seminar in our Profile Area Seminar Series

Dimitrios is Professor of Building Simulation and Optimisation at UCL and Deputy Director of the Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering. His research focuses on computational approaches for building energy modelling, smart buildings, optimisation, and data integration. He has also been active in international work on data-driven smart buildings, including IEA EBC Annex 81.

The seminar will discuss how digital building twins can support more efficient, adaptive, and data-driven building operation. It will cover key concepts, applications, and enabling technologies, including semantic web frameworks, integrated data platforms, and agent-based control beyond conventional building management systems.

We will have fika before the seminar, and those joining in person are very welcome to come a little earlier.
