Image explanation

The range of higher education pedagogical courses can be divided into three levels:

  • The basic level is mainly aimed at doctoral students with the courses Introduction to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and Communicating Science and at adjunct professors with a special course called Introduction to Teaching and Learning in HE for Adjunct Professors.
  • At the intermediate level, there are several courses for teachers with more experience. The two courses Developing and Leading Courses at LTH and the Readership (Docent) Course are focused on course responsibility in undergraduate education and research supervision. The courses The Good Lecture, Active Teaching and Learning, Supervision in Theory and Practice and The Flipped Classroom deepen the competence in specific parts of the teaching role. At the request of LTH's departments, CEE also offers a Collegial Project Course for teaching teams, and in collaboration with the Malmö Theatre Academy at Lund University, a course in stage performance is offered.
  • At the in depth level, there are two courses for teachers who want to develop and merit further. Teaching Portfolio Workshop and SoTL Project Course for an in-depth project within Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
