Quality assurance procedures at the Faculty of Engineering LTH
Quality assurance and quality enhancement activities at LTH are based on the principles expressed in the Lund university policy framework for quality assurance. They consist of processes for design and approval of new study programmes, evaluation of ongoing courses and study programmes, follow-up of these activities and their results.
In the organisational structure of LTH, programmes boards and departments are in charge of most quality enhancement activities, which take place in close connection to the implementation of courses and programmes.
On the following pages you will find information about quality assurance and enhancement activities concerning first-, second- and third-cycle studies, and about different administrative and support functions that facilitate different processes surrounding the education.
You will also find information about the division of responsibilities concerning quality assurance.
At LTH continuous quality assurance processes follow up the quality of courses and study programmes. In addition to this, processes or parts of the organisation are evaluated periodically or when the need arises. This kind of evaluation often includes external reviewers.
Most of the faculty's results are documented and presented in Swedish. For more information, please contact the LTH Quality Support unit.
