This course is offered to students from College of Engineering at University of Michigan, as an integrated part in their undergraduate summer research program at LTH. The aim of the course is to prepare engineering students for a professional career in a global context. The courses consists of three themes:

• Swedish society, democracy, governance and social security system
• Swedish innovation and entrepreneurship
• Swedish and regional history
