100 doctoral theses completed in automatic control

– Published 27 May 2014

The 100th doctoral thesis has now been produced at the Department of Automatic Control at Lund University’s Faculty of Engineering, LTH. This achievement will be marked by exhibiting all the theses - old as well as new – on one wall. Alumni from LTH gathered in the M building in April to celebrate, and got a fresh opportunity to pin up their theses, as Lund PhD students traditionally do on completion of their research studies. The latest PhD graduate, Vanessa Romero Segovia, participated via a link. The image shows Karl-Johan Åström pinning up some of the doctoral theses whose authors were unable to take part in the gathering of PhD alumni.
