PhD education survey

PhD education surveys, directed to the doctoral student, have been carried out in 2019 and 2022. A corresponding survey, directed to the supervisors was carried out in 2020.

In the doctoral students’ surveys, the respondents answered questions about e.g. the research education environment, prerequisite for the research work, cooperation, supervision, degree outcomes, the individual study plan, career guidance and teaching.

In the supervisors’ survey, the supervisors answered questions about e.g. trust, prerequisites for the supervisor assignment, supervision, support from colleagues, transparency, administrative support and financing.

The results from the surveys have been summarised in reports to the Education Board for Third-Cycle Studies at LTH and the study directors for third-cycle studies at the departments.
