A seminar is aimed at all PIs at LTH and addresses the most important contractual principles that should be considered when meeting with collaborative partners to plan collaborations and projects. Examples of issues that will be addressed are the possibility of publishing results, continuing to use results in research and teaching, the handling of compensation for results, opportunities to commercialise results and issues of confidentiality.

The division of labor, with Legal providing support and operations making decisions, will also be addressed.

The seminar will feature lawyers Hanna Stam and Sara Lindgren from Legal (LU), and lawyer Fredrik Engfeldt from LU Innovation.
