The exchange of ideas benefits both parties

There are many reasons to explore the possibilities for your business to collaborate with LTH. For example, you can profile yourself as an attractive employer and provide a valuable knowledge advantage.

When the "cutting edge" of knowledge from academia and industry come together, we can use curiosity and different experiences to develop solutions that benefit the world. For companies and organisations, collaboration with LTH can bring various benefits, in addition to contributing to society.

  • At the forefront through research. Collaborations with LTH researchers – and in some cases even students doing their Degree Project – can give your company or organisation a head start in the search for unproven but well-functioning solutions.
  • Increased competence. Collaboration with LTH gives your organisation good opportunities to both increase competence and contribute to lifelong learning. This is particularly true in the light of digitalisation and developments in AI – a crucial issue for Swedish industry.
  • Attractive employer. By participating in projects and opening doors for students doing thesis work, you can connect with the next "generation" of workers. Your company can expose itself to the engineers, architects and industrial designers of the future.

LTH is part of a knowledge ecosystem that is growing stronger in western Skåne and the Öresund region - not least thanks to the large research facilities that are being established in Lund.

Idea and innovation for growth

Many of LTH's students and researchers take knowledge further and develop new companies or products.

  • LU Innovation is Lund University's innovation division. By supporting and developing research results together with researchers and students, LU Innovation works to ensure that more ideas go to companies and lead to licensing deals.
  • Venture Lab is part of LU Innovation and offers free programmes, office space and idea advice to students and recent graduates who want to develop a business idea or start their own business.
