How can I support LTH?

Donate to the LTH Anniversary Fund

LTH rewards the student or students who have presented an outstanding degree project with LTH's Anniversary Scholarships. The purpose is to stimulate the quality of degree projects at LTH's five-year engineering programmes.

On the occassion of LTH's 50th anniversary in 2010, a scholarship was established, with contributions from both private individuals and companies, to enable us to annually select the best degree project at LTH.

One thesis per academic year is rewarded with SEK 5,000, and the scholarship is awarded in connection with LTH's graduation ceremony during the autumn semester.

LTH sets high standards for the recipient of this award. We use the assessment criteria of the The Swedish Association of Graduate Engineers for the Little Polhem Prize as a basis.

On occassion of LTH's 60th anniversary, we would like to refill the fund so that we can continue to reward our most talented students.

We welcome your support to continue to award LTH's Anniversary Scholarships. All contributions, regardless of size, are important.

If you would like to make a donation from Sweden:

  • the Swish payment service makes contributing easy: 123 488 89 70.
Write ”LTH60” in the message field.
  • or use our bankgiro number: 5051-4728.
Write "107991 Jubilee + your name/organisation" in the message field.

Support research at LTH, Faculty of Engineering – to benefit society

Some examples of new technologies that have been developed based on research at LTH are the medical ultrasound, the inkjet printer, wireless transfer via Bluetooth and health-promoting food such as Proviva and Oatly.

There are more than 800 active researchers at LTH. They are working with both classical engineering subjects as well as in newer areas branching towards medicine, science, environment and design. Overall, the research constitutes 15-20 % of the total engineering research carried out at Swedish universities and higher education institutions.
