9 May - Concert

Akademiska Kapellet presents Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 ‘From the New World’, along with Leonard Bernstein’s jazzy orchestral suite ‘In the Town’, performed by the University’s own symphony orchestra.

Members of the Alumni Network have a chance to book a seat among the 60 free tickets reserved for alumni via special invitation. Registration required. Free tickets will be allocated on a rolling basis until capacity is reached. An invitation with a registration link will be sent by email about three weeks in advance.

The concert is also open to the public with ticket purchase.

21 May - Celestialkarneval Alumni Mingle

The day before Lundakarnevalen begins, members of the Alumni Network are invited to an exclusive event to gear up for the carnival weekend.
The invitation will be sent on 10 April at 15:00 CEST.

Prize for outstanding doctoral thesis

The Färs and Frosta Sparbanken Foundation awards the Sparbanken Skåne Prize to a recently graduated PhD student at LTH for a particularly outstanding doctoral thesis.

The prize will be awarded to a person for good research, preferably in the field of environment and sustainable development, which is beneficial to the development of business and society. 

The prize consists of SEK 100,000 and will be awarded during the graduation ceremony in May.
