NOSA Aerosologist of the year: Adam Kristensson
Adam Kristensson, senior lecturer at Combustion Physics and member of the profile areas Aerosols and Energy Transition, has been awarded the 2024 NOSA Aerosologist Award. The award is given for his excellent contribution to aerosol research and as an active promotor for aerosol science as both a previous NOSA board member, but also within ACTRIS.

In mid-September, Professor Martin Andersson held a lunch seminar presenting the Competence centre AdTherM, of which he is also Deputy Director. The seminar attracted 25 participants from the Energy Transition profile area and focused on how the competence centre was created and how it is organised.

An excursion focusing on aerosol research
The profile area Aerosols focuses on strengthening its community and on promoting a better understanding of the members’ activities. As a part of this initiative, the profile area has arranged a day trip to Lund University's School of Aviation in Ljungbyhed and the ACTRIS measurement site Hyltemossa.

Workshop about water system integration
A workshop about a new collaboration area between Lund University and Imperial College London has been held in September 2024. Behind the Water Systems Integration Workshop (WSIW-2024) was the LTH Profile Area Water (LTH Water) together with the Division of Water Resources Engineering at Lund University.
