montage of semiconductor chip and map of Europe
From: 2023-06-14 15:30 to 17:00 Seminarium

The European Chips Act encompasses all aspects of the need as identified from the European Union by stating that: “Chips are strategic assets for key industrial value chains”. Within Lund University we have many initiatives that are responding to the initial interpretation of Chips Act and the purpose of this seminar is to familiarize you all with the width and breadth of the activities that are currently on-going as we embark on this long-term journey.

The “Chips Act” is expected to be relevant to us for many years to come and the target is likely to change over time – we are expecting many interesting and relevant calls to be released, but we do not know which yet.

In the seminar there will be brief presentations on all current work to attract funding to Lund University by answering calls from national funding organizations, further will also already granted initiatives related to this topic be presented. A detailed agenda outlining the topics to be presented will be distributed within short.

The expected outcome for participants of the seminar is to widen the knowledge on current activities as well as identifying potential collaboration partners for future work – we need to establish robust P2P connections that are supporting the overall bridge building within Lund University.

The seminar will be held on Wednesday the 14 June in E:2311 and start at 15:30!
