Registration on courses

The courses that you will study initially at LTH are for most of our master's programmes already selected and added to your study plan. If you are required to make a choice for courses for study perod 1 (first half of the autumn semester), you will be contacted by your international coordinator with more information.

Registration for courses will be possible approximately one week before the autumn semester starts. It is not possible to register on courses earlier than this. You will get more infon on course registration when you arrive and you will also be informed by e-mail when it is time to take action.

If you have studied at Bachelor outside Sweden, remember to submit your diploma and transcript of records as soon as possible to your account at universityadmissions.se and notify your coordinator when this is done. The documents must be available in your account before the start of the master's programme. Follow the instructions at University Admissions on how to submit your documents.

University admissions website

If you have studied a Bachelor at a Swedish university, you must finalise all your courses and apply for the degree certificate as soon as possible and before the start of the master's programme. It is not enought to show that you have all the credits needed to graduate, you must be able to show that you have graduated. You do not need to upload your documents to University Admission as we have access to Ladok for all information needed. Notify your coordinator when you have applied for your degree certificate.

Sign up for our field-trip to Kullaberg! Every autumn the International Office LTH arranges a field trip to Kullaberg as a way of getting to know the other master’s students here at LTH and of course to show you a little bit of the surrounding landscape. Information on how to sign up will be sent out by your coordinator.

Sign up to get a mentor… or two. The student union (TLTH) do their best to give both national and international students an introduction filled with social activities for you to have fun and to find new friends. Mentor programmes are arranged both by TLTH and Lund University centrally. You can sign up to get a mentor both from TLTH and from the central LU International Desk. To be successful with your studies, a balance between studies and extra-curricular activities is important and you do not need to sign up for all activities. You can pick and choose!

A network of friends can help a lot if things start to feel tough and/or you get homesick.
