Norwegian pilots graduated from LTH

Eleven Norwegian airline pilots graduated on June 10 after training at the School of Aviation, TFHS in Ljungbyhed, which is a part of LTH. The pilots have completed a Bachelor of Aviation at Tromsö University, but the air training was conducted in TFHS. The students were trained at TFHS for a period of two years. At the graduation ceremony Jarle Aarbacke, Rector of the University of Tromsö, highlighted that the Arctic region is of increasing economic importance due to its abundant natural resources, and expressed the hope that the cooperation between the two universities will deepen.
