ACTION!

The design process is used as a tool for examining and understanding the relationship between human, object and context.

Water and air is polluted and raw material is consumed at a speed that is not sustainable and no one wants to take care of the waste. Sentences that are said and heard every day but few want to listen. A designer’s role in this system is not without an inner conflict, we respond to market demands and invent new needs and desires supporting and encouraging consumption. Today industria designers that dare to keep their eyes open face a new challenge, to design nothing. No material waste, pollution, no new needs, no garbage... How do we conform to this?

“Actions” is a short film about my thoughts regarding the relationship between a human, an object and its context seen through the design process. In the film these thoughts are realized as objects that in themselves intend to provoke thoughts about our society. Their inner nature, relationship and context are further illustrated through the film.
