Effective job seeking—Lund University's central Careers Service

The University's central Careers Service offers a range of services to students at Lund University. Seminars on how to apply for jobs in Sweden and abroad, on writing applications and CVs and preparing for interviews are held regularly in English. From time to time, guest speakers are invited to talk about different career opportunities. On their webpage, you will also find a selection of links about the labour market and how to find a job. You can also find useful links and guides about writing CVs and cover letters as well as preparing for job interviews. They do not offer individual consultations.

ARKAD—the largest career fair in southern Sweden

ARKAD is organised annually by the LTH Student Union, TLTH. For two days in November about 150 companies and organisations visit LTH to meet all the interesting students that are being educated here. The fair is an excellent opportunity to create valuable contacts, discuss interesting degree projects/summer jobs/trainee positions, as well as get a glimpse of what the future as an engineer/architect/industrial designer has to offer.
