Nobel Lecture by Bernard L. Feringa

One of the Nobel Prize Laureates in chemistry 2016, Bernard L. Feringa, will give a public lecture at Lund University, organized by Lund University and the Chemical Society in Lund.

– Publicerad den 13 December 2016

Bernard L. Feringa, University of Groningen, the Netherlands, gives a public lecture under the title: "Dynamic Molecular Systems, from switches to motors".

Time: 15 December, 13:30-15:00

Place: LUX Aula (Grand Auditorium), Building C, Helgonavägen 3

Professor Feringa has been a leading researcher in organic chemistry, including sub-diciplines such as stereochemistry, asymmetric catalysis, optopharma, self-assembly, molecular nanosystems as well as molecular switches and motors.

For his work in the field of molecular machines he has now, together with Jean-Pierre Sauvage (University of Strasbourg, France) and Sir J. Fraser Stoddart (Northwestern University, IL, USA), been awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2016.

Don't miss the opportunity of experiencing a lecture by a world leading scientist who will be guiding you into the world of molecular machines!

The lecture is open to the public. However the number of seats is limited. Welcome!
