Design and optimization of membrane plants
Methods to predict and optimize the performance of membrane plants treating complex industrial solutions are developed. The influence of various operating parameters on the performance and how to optimize the process is studied.
Flux enhancing techniques as, for example, backpulsing, backflushing, air scouring and shear-enhanced membrane modules, are studied.
