Mentorship Programme

The Mentorship Programme is the second phase of LTH Career Academy. The goal is rather straightforward: to provide a forum for a bilateral giving and taking of knowledge and experience between a more experienced colleague (mentor) and the less experienced colleague (mentee) who is participating in the LTH Career Academy Programme. In other words, mentorship is about a dialogue and a meeting where the mentee and mentor share their experiences, talk about and analyse them to be able to view them in a new way. This is how the Mentorship Programme will increase the contact network for the mentees and at the same time integrate long experience with new ideas. Doing so, will support the participants actively, not only in their career planning, but also in their individual development.

The mentor and the mentee are expected to meet about once a month in the course of one academic year, a total of 8 to 10 times. It be better in the beginning to meet more often to get to know each other and to feel that you have a fruitful dialogue. Please contact us for a more detailed description and instructions for mentees and mentors.
