Library of Mathematics

This is a special library within the subjects of mathematics, mathematical statistics and numerical analysis. We have plenty of study places – ranging from individual places along the windows to cosy armchairs to relax in for a bit of reading. In the library environment you also find our seminar room called Sigma, which is a flexibly furnished room that is sometimes booked for teaching, but also functions as a study place for individuals and groups in front of a  white-board. In our shelves you find course books for home loan and subject relevant literature covering everything from one-dimensional analysis to probabilistic theory. We also offer a wide range of e-books and electronic journals within our subject areas. Among other e-resources you find databases like MathSciNet – a bibliographic database for mathematics. In addition to being an asset for students, this library forms a substantial research library for the mathematical sciences.
