EXTA24 and EXTA25: Swedish language course for engineering students
To meet the growing interest for Swedish language courses, the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, LTH, offers its exchange students academic Swedish courses at two levels:
- EXTA24 Beginner's level
The courses will be taught by the Department of Scandinavian Languages at Lund University. They are free of charge, and incoming LTH students will get more information via e-mail with instructions on how to apply. If you intend to take one of these courses you can add it to your Study Plan. NB! Only a limited number of places are available, which means that applying does NOT guarantee participation!
EXTA24 and EXTA25 are open only for exchange students studying mainly at the Faculty of Engineering. Lessons will be held 17h-20h twice a week, Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, which is convenient for engineering, industrial design and architecture students who have busy day-time schedules. These are academic courses awarding 7,5 ECTS each. This equals 5 weeks of full-time studies.
EXTA24 is equivalent to SVEE11 and EXTA25 is equivalent to SVEE12. They have the same course content.
SVEE courses at Lund University
Lund University organizes similar courses for exchange students, the so called SVEE courses (7.5 credits each).
The SVEE courses are offered on five levels and are therefore suitable for you who already know Swedish.
