A special message from LTH's Dean – regarding the invasion of Ukraine

I hope we will take extra good care of each other in these troubled times and be resolute together, writes Annika Olsson, Dean of LTH, in a message to students and staff affected by the attack on Ukraine.

Since early yesterday morning, we have been in shock over the Russian government's decision to invade Ukraine. 24 February 2022 marks a sad day in history – with an extended war in Europe and a violent attack on a democracy which should have been unthinkable. This act will now lead to great suffering and incalculable consequences.

As Dean of LTH, I would like to express my dismay at what is happening, and I would like to send a special message to our students and staff affected by the attack on Ukraine.

I hope we can help and care for each other in these troubled times, and be resolute together.

For LTH's doctoral students there is crisis support available through the Occupational Health Service, for example for those whose relatives are affected by the war.
