A future-oriented summary of the ten-year research program Embedded Applications Software Engineering (EASE)

Since 2008 the EASE research program has increased the knowledge base on applied software engineering. The objective of EASE has been to ensure that the industrial partners have a competitive advantage concerning  competency and innovation of novel solutions and effective engineering  of embedded software applications with physical and logical mobility.  Axis, Sony, Ericsson and Softhouse has been the industrial partners. An additional objective has been to strengthen the research environments at Lund University and Blekinge Institute of Technology.

During the afternoon 15 October, we will summarise key findings and results but also let experienced representatives from our industry partners discuss their view on the future needs of applied research in the domains of Embedded Applications and Software Engineering.
