STEPS - Sustainable Plastics and Transition Pathways
STEPS (Sustainable Plastics and Transition Pathways) is a Mistra funded research programme at Lund University between 2016 and 2020. The programme has a vision of a future society in which plastics are sustainably produced, used and recycled in a circular economy.
STEPS engages an interdisciplinary group of researchers from Departments of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Product Development, Solid Mechanics, Technology and Society, Sociology, Political Science and CIRCLE at Lund university, Swedish Agricultural University (SLU) Alnarp and Swerea IVF. Furthermore, there are 18 stakeholders associated to the programme that represent the entire value chain for the sustainable plastics systems.
