In 2004 Lund University created SCIBLU - Swegene Centre for Integrative Biology at Lund University, which fused five of the most successful Swegene resource and development platforms into one unit, from June 2013 located at Medicon Village. The purpose was to create a centre offering services within all –omics areas.
From 2017 the SCIBLU Genomics facility at the Department of Immunotechnology is the only remaining SCIBLU facility still operating. Since 2018 we are operating without financial support from Lund university, and costs for running the services are covered by user-fees.
The mission of SCIBLU genomics is to offer scientists opportunities to use a high-technology platform in order to conduct bioscience research on an international top level.
SCIBLU genomics offers services to researchers from both academic and non-academic sites in and outside Sweden
