Abstract: Who is trusting whom in the digital society? What builds trust in digital products and services? In a cross disciplinary project at Lund University, we launched a national survey on peoples’ trust and distrust in the digital society. We conclude that some areas have gained trust to the level of the analog world - for example internet banking - while other areas gain little trust - social media actors gain very low trust, despite a very broad usage basis.
The seminar will present our findings and discuss what we may learn from that in designing new products and services. The report is available at:
