Technical Writing for Publication

Svensk titel: Skriva vetenskapliga artiklar på engelska, 6 hp

Course objectives:

The main objective of this course is to teach doctoral students the skills needed to write a research article for publication in a technical research journal in their fields. The course is now being offered in area-specific versions with content, materials and emphasis adapted to the different types of discourse common in specific research areas.

The course is also intended to facilitate the work of thesis advisors and research colleagues by speeding up the process by which junior researchers learn the art, skill and conventions needed for writing a convincing description of new research findings.
