Professor Alexander E. Ellinger
Professor Ellinger is Frank Schultz Professor of Business Administration at the university of Alabama. Professor Ellinger has published more than 50 refereed journal articles in the most high cited journals and has received Best Paper Awards or publications in most of them. He is the editor of IJPDLM, a high cited journal within Emerald groupAlso and an active member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the Warehouse Education Research Council, the Academy of Marketing Science, and the Society for Marketing Advances. His research interests include human resource development strategies in the supply chain, cross-functional integration, customer service performance improvement process and resource-based theory.
Professor Ellinger’s workshop within NordLog will focus on the information about IJPDLM, such as the history, purpose, scope, statistics of submissions and acceptances, and what takes to publish in IJPDLM, as well as how to become a reviewer and what does the editor and the reviewer look for in a submitted paper.
Dr. Dag Näslund
Dr. Dag Näslund is Associate Professor of Process and Supply Chain Management at Lund University. Dr. Näslund is also Associate Professor of Management, with tenure, at the University of North Florida, USA. He earned an MS from the Lund Institute of Technology; an MBA from the University of California at Irvine and a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Engineering (LTH), Lund University, in Process and Supply Chain Management. His research interests include process management (mapping, modeling, measurements and improvement methods such as lean and six sigma), information systems for processes and supply chains with an additional special interest in Research Methods and Philosophy of Science. Dr. Näslund supervises both master and doctoral students and publishes extensively in leading process and supply chain management journals.
Professor Patrik Jonsson
Patrik Jonsson is Professor in Operations & Supply Chain Management. He has a PhD in production management from Lund University and held a position as assistant professor at Växjö/Linneus University prior to joining Chalmers in 2001. Jonsson currently serves as a senior associate editor for the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, and is in the editorial advisory board for the European Business Review, and in the editorial review board for the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management.
