Welcome to LTH’s first Lise Meitner seminar

LTH´s own honorary doctor Karin Adelsköld will be moderating this first time seminar. We will enjoy popular lectures from three current and prominent Lise Meitner professors and discuss the contribution and future of the Lise Meitner professorship at LTH.

Workshop on Synchrotron X-ray and Neutron application to Food Science and Technology

The two major research facilities the MAX IV synchrotron and the European Spallation Source (ESS) will open up unique opportunities for the advancement of research in many fields of research in the Öresund-Kattegatt-Skagerack region, in particular in food science research.

French-Swedish research Day 2017 - Embassy of France in Sweden

The French Institute in Sweden organizes its annual French-Swedish Research Day which will be held the 10th of November in Umeå. 

All researchers, living in Sweden or France, who have a common interest for research between our two countries, are more than welcome to join us. The event is free but registration is mandatory (seats limited at 60 participants).
The day will end on a visit of Bildmuseet and a mingle (4-6 pm) offered by the French Institute in Sweden (such as “welcome coffee” and lunch)


Funding international collaboration

As an employee of Lund University, you have many opportunities to receive funding from a programme if you work, or plan to work, abroad.

Find out about the various funding opportunities available to you and your colleagues. We have divided the meeting into 3 different parts - Mobility, Project and Travel Grants. You will be able to listen to colleagues from LU who have taken part in all forms of collaborations.

Minor field studies

The application period for Minor Field Studies (MFS) is open until 10 November. Through Sida's (Swedish Development Cooperation) MFS you can conduct a minor field study in a developing country for your Bachelor's or Master's degree project.

Lund University and Sparbanken Skåne award a total of 200 000 SEK to future innovations

Do you have a really good idea? An idea which could go far and perhaps become a new product, a new service or a new working method in the future? Or an idea to make something that already exists so much better? Together with Sparbanken Skåne, LU Innovation will award a total of SEK 200 000 to future innovations. All students and employees at Lund University are welcome to participate, no later than 13  December 2017.
