Welcome to nominate candidates for the Lund University Administrative Prize 2018 – Nominate by 23 October 2017 the latest

Employees and students at Lund University are hereby invited to propose candidates for the 2018 Lund University Administrative Prize. With this award, the University management wishes to recognize extraordinary contributions in administration throughout the University.

Lund University’s administrative prize is to be awarded annually to an employee at Lund University for outstanding administrative efforts of an innovative nature that have contributed to the University’s development, or for extraordinary service and efficiency.

The nomination is to be sent in its entirety to carina.wickberg@rektor.lu.se; by 23 October 2017 at the latest.

Introduction meeting for new staff at LTH

LTH would like to invite all new staff to an introduction meeting. You will receive inspirational and practical information from the Faculty Dean and Human Resources. We will also have a customary Swedish “fika” break, with tea and coffee. Both Swedish and international staff members are welcome to attend.

Symposium at the Division of Architecture about the visual experience

You are welcome to a symposium is based on the work of the interdisciplinary research project SYN-TES, Human Color and Light Synthesis - towards a coherent field of knowledge, of which LTH was one of the Nordic cooperating universities.

Invitation to meet the new EU legislation 2018 of importance to research

All researchers at Lund University are invited to an information meeting on the important new EU legislation (data protection regulation), which becomes valid in 2018. This will replace the current Personal Data Act (PUL) and are of great importance to, inter alia, research on health issues and the use of social registries in research.

Science Theme at Vattenhallen

During the open house at Vattenhallen Science Centre, you can learn what materials research is and how the research facilities ESS and MAX IV work. Do not miss the Quantum show, popular science lectures and the experiments on light, materials, nanotechnology and other interesting activities. In the Centre's planetarium you can see the show "Cosmic light".

National call for generation of recombinant antibodies

A call for new proposals to generate human recombinant antibodies at SciLifeLab is open. The call is open to users from both academia and industry and closes on November 1, 2017.
