Integrating Communication into Engineering Education

The Centre for Engineering Education and Genombrottet are pleased to invite you to explore engineering communication in a lecture and a workshop by Dr. Robert Irish, Associate Professor at the University of Toronto’s Engineering Communication Program.

Two events in connection with IPCC — Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change

Students and employees are welcome to take part in two events organised in connection with IPCC — Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change:

  • 23 October 2017, 10:00-12:00, Malmö Live: researchers from Lund University and Malmö University meet Isabella Lövin, Swedish Minister for International Development Cooperation and Climate. Read more (in Swedish)
  • 24 October 2017, Malmömässan in Hyllie, Malmö: the panel will explore the challenges related to health, food and water in a changing climate and the need for innovations and new strategies to tackle the challenges we are facing. Students with interest in these topics will have the chance to put forward their questions. Read more


Popular science seminar on current research on aging and health

The Centre for Ageing and Supportive Environments (CASE) presents, through an exhibition and a series of lectures, current research on aging and health. The event is free and open to all.

Text-to-speech software TorTalk available for students and staff

Do you have reading impairment which makes it hard to read printed material? Students and staff at Lund University can now install on their computer the assistive software TorTalk, a reading tool that can read out all kinds of text from paper and screen.

Research and teaching staff with a doctoral degree, employed by Lund University, are hereby invited to submit applications for funding for up to a maximum of SEK 25 000. Available total funding for the call is SEK 100.000.
