The deadline to nominate honorary doctors for 2018 is Monday 25 September. Nominate the candidate with a brief motivation (max one-half page) by e-mail to dl_hedersdoktor@kansli.lth.se

LTH is a finalist for digital project of the year

LTH, Lund Municipality, RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden), Sensefarm and Sensative have created LoRa - an open IoT network in Lund that companies, organizations and individuals can access. The project is finalist for Digital Project of the Year 2017.

FonSyd's autumn seminar 2017: "What happens next? Careers beyond the doctorate in diverse national contexts"

What happens to graduates beyond the doctorate? Prof. Liezel Frick will address the issue of early career researcher development from multiple perspectives, drawing on work from Sweden, South Africa, Finland, Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom.

IFI has three different microscopes including a laser scanning confocal  (Zeiss LSM700), inverted fluorescence microscope with incubator for live cell imaging (Zeiss Axiovert 200) a more advanced TIRF, spinning disc, IRM, FLIM and a point scanner inverted microscope with 6 laser lines (Zeiss/3I).

Annual meeting 2017 – Health, wealth and worldclass

Medicon Valley Alliance’s Annual Meeting 2017 is inspired by the Danish life science growth team´s recommendation published in March, focusing on the parallel processes of developing national life science strategies in Denmark and Sweden.
