Welcome to the Lund University School of Industrial Design MA/BA Degree Exhibition of 2017

Showcasing a diverse range of projects, from exploring the future of mobility to challenging current behaviour patterns. 

Where: The A-building Exhibition Hall, Sölvegatan 24, Lund

Summertime at study centre

Since the exam period continues after the Swedish National Day, the Study Centre is open and staffed until June 9th. Thereafter, the building will be closed until August 14th except for specifically booked activities (The Academic Development Unit at the Faculty of Engineering, BEST).

During closing time the Info desk staff is available by phone (046 22 27200) on weekdays from 12:00 to 16:00. At the info desk you can, for example, request your LADOK certificate or the code for Lucat and the Student Portal. You can reach the info desk staff at any time via email or voicemail and the request is handled the next working day.

From August 14th, before the beginning of the autumn term, the Study Centre will be open with regular opening hours and service, both at the info desk and at the library.


Wallenberg travel grants 2017:2 for contact trips outside Europe

Travel grants from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation aims to strengthen Lund University's cooperation with universities outside Europe. External Relations now invites applications for up to 10 travel grants of up to SEK 20 000 for employees – primarily junior researchers with a PhD – at Lund University.

Travel grants will be used for contact trips to existing and new partners outside Europe. The purpose of the trips will be to discuss, develop and plan for education and research cooperation of strategic importance for Lund University's internationalisation.

Three-Minute-Thesis (3MT) Competition for PhD students

All doctoral students in the second half of their studies are encouraged to take part in this year’s U21 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. This competition is an excellent opportunity to practice sharing your research findings with others and to have the chance to compete internationally and win a stipend! Live presentations will be given by the participating doctoral students, with just one slide, in 3 minutes or less.

A jury will select the winner of Lund University’s competition. All registered participants are offered a workshop on how to present a complex topic in a short period of time, prior to the competition. The competition is organised by the Division for External Relations in collaboration with Lund Doctoral Student Union, LDK.

NCF to launch new call for proposals

Nordic Climate Facility, an NDF-financed challenge fund for innovative climate change projects. The seventh call for proposals of the Nordic Climate Facility (NCF) will be open from 28 August to 29 September 2017. The theme of this year's call is Climate as Business—Testing innovative green business concepts. The call focuses on testing innovative climate-related business ideas that have the potential to become commercially viable.
