Infrastructure of the month: CLEM at IQ Biotechnology Platform

Lund University have excellent infrastructures to support research in medicine, biology and biomedicine. Every month one special infrastructure is highlighted, to increase the awareness of the available platforms.  The new CLEM at IQ Biotechnology Platform is this month’s infrastructure

CLEM is a new and unique Correlative Light and Electron Microscope (CLEM) that allows the simultaneous analysis of specimens by fluorescence and scanning electron microscopy. Using this new technology, you can combine immunological and three-dimensional information within the same image.

  • Do you want to target dynamic bio-events for structural analysis at high resolution?
  • Do you want to define your structure and continue with scanning electron microscopy?

The new CLEM is the perfect tool to analyze unknown ultrastructures obtaining a fast result, unravelling complex relationships between structural and functional biological samples.

We can help you through the process, from preparation to analysis.
