Sleep problems
Our domestic light sources don’t allow the body to prepare for sleep in the evening. The result of this is a lack of energy in the morning.

The prototype
One thing we all have in common is that we go to the bathroom before going to bed and when we wake up. This bathroom light can help us with our sleep rhythm problems. The prototype demonstrates two different lights, which can manipulate our sleep hormone at the right times.

Relax
The warm lights at the sides represent a sunset or campfire. This light is only on during the evening and at night. Exposure to the light spectrum of this light allows your body to produce sleep hormones. This helps you to relax, prepares you for sleep and also has convenient full brightness illumination.

Refresh
The white light at the top of the mirror represents a morning sun. This light is only on during the morning and after noon. Exposure to the light spectrum of this light will remove the sleep hormones from your body. This makes you more awake, so you can start your day fresh.
