This is the result of a project which goal is to re-introduce the classic lantern into our modern soci- ety, achieved by new design and technology. The Lantern 2.0 is a wireless LED-powered lantern for home leisure and social purposes; like reading a book on the porch, looking for an old photo album on the attic, dining with friends on the balcony, a night-light by the bed or an ambient light in the living room. It has a dimming function to appeal to different hours of the day and occasion, and is easily re- charged in the docking station.
