People tend to have a lot of lamps in their home. Some for overall lighting, some for working and some as mood setters. But what if one lamp could accommodate more than one of these situations?

DUO provides focused light downwards and diffused upwards. By turning the knob the light changes direction. The diffused light is created by passing it through an organically patterned glass disc to get scattered reflections in the ceiling similar to an old style crystal chandelier. By combining two types of light in one lamp its possible to reduce use of material and energy for manufacturing but also space in the home.
