Food Technology

2 years, 120 hp (ECTS Credits) University Diploma

By raising educational standards in the food industry it will be possible to influence future food products in a positive direction, and to meet the growing demands of the sector for the hygienic production and treatment of food products.

This vocational programme in food technology aims to meet the needs of food technicians who

  • assess, safeguard and manage the hygienic production and handling of food products.
  • contribute with highly qualified skills in food technology to industry, the retail trade, large-scale catering and restaurants, high schools and governmental bodies.

The programme is based on, and assumes that, the students will have vocational experience from the food industry.
