
Application to a teaching position
An application to a teaching position should be drawn up according to the instructions below, and submitted in pdf format, one file for each item below, or if possible as a pdf portfolio. Please quote the official reference number and the name of the position applied for in the email header. Applications should be written in English, unless otherwise stated in the announcement. Describe your qualifications in terms related to the criteria set out in the announcement. Send the application, including attachments, to the Registrar of Lund University Registrator@lu.se and a copy to the officer in charge at the Human Resources LTH (stated in the announcement).
Application for promotion
An application for promotion should also be drawn up according to the instructions below, and submitted to Registrator@lu.se and a copy to befordran@kansli.lth.se (Human Resources LTH).
Content and arrangement of applications
1) Cover letter
The cover letter must quote the position for which you are applying, including the official reference number. If you apply for promotion, the reference number will be assigned on receipt.
2) CV
Name
Date of birth (if you have a Swedish personal identification number, please give this)
Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail address)
Certificates supporting the above-mentioned information should be included at the end of the application, (see item 5).
3) Description of qualifications relevant to the position applied for with regard to

Certificates, course evaluations, etc. supporting these qualifications should be included at the end of the application, (see items 5 and 6).
4) Publications
A list of all publications should be included, arranged as follows.
a.) Peer-reviewed articles
b.) Conference contributions with peer review
c.) Conference contributions without peer review
d.) Books and book chapters
e.) Reports
f.) Other publications
The applicant should submit no more than 10 publications that he/she considers to be the most relevant to the position. If these publications have several authors, the contribution made by the applicant should be made clear.
You are recommended to send the selected publications as pdf files, one for each publication and, if possible, as a pdf portfolio. If the publications are available only as prints they should be sent in three copies to The Registrar, Lund University, P.O.Box 118, SE 221 00 Lund, Sweden, (for courier mail or packages, the following address should be quoted The Registrar, Lund University, Byrålogen, Paradisgatan 5 C, SE 223 50 Lund, Sweden), unless otherwise indicated.
5) Certificates, letters of recommendation, etc.
Documents supporting your qualifications should be included here, as one pdf file.
6) Course evaluations
A selection of relevant student course evaluations supporting your teaching skills should be included here, as one pdf file.
