Tuesday, 10 January is Arrival Day at Lund University for students commencing their studies this spring.
Some 500 exchange students and a few international masters’ students from all over the world will arrive in Lund for academic studies lasting up to two years.
The Arrival Day reception is open between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm. Students arriving at Copenhagen Airport or Lund Central Station will be met by international student mentors who will guide them to the Academic Society building (AF-borgen) where the students will be “checked in”, housing contracts will be signed and tickets to different student events will be on sale.
The international students will then be taken to their student accommodation to get acquainted with their surroundings. During Arrival Day some 80 student mentors will assist the new students.
At the AF building, more the 20 university employees will be on hand to help the new students.
Students of more than 47 different nationalities are expected at Lund University on 10 January. Among exchange students the largest groups arrive from Canada, USA, France, Germany and Singapore.
