Research Policy Institute

The Research Policy Institute at Lund University is a multidisciplinary institute bringing together social science, the natural sciences and the arts. The research carried out by the Institute in the field of energy is mainly concerned with:

- implementation processes regarding energy efficiency and plants for the
  generation of energy from renewable sources, from national to local level,

- the effects of enforced and voluntary regulation of the electricity market,

- processes and definition of criteria for the standardisation of various kinds of
  energy in environmental labelling and certification,

- strategies for categorising households prior to implementing measures for
  more efficient energy use in buildings,

- economic, practical and environmental patterns of reasoning in various
  kinds of households and companies, and 

- initiative and acceptance processes in questions concerning energy efficiency
  measures in households.
