Ergonomics and Aerosol Technology

Research in aerosol physics and aerosol technology (the study of small airborne particles) is carried out at various departments and divisions at LTH. Several of these have coordinated their activities through the Consortium for Aerosol Science and Technology at Lund University (CAST).

LTH has internationally advanced laboratory resources for experimental aerosol research, and we have many international and national partners and extensive networks in various areas of application.

Aerosol technology also includes methods of manufacturing different products. Examples include nanoparticles for semiconductor manufacture and new materials with unique properties, as well as pharmaceuticals in particle form.
