Lund University in world top 100 in Times Higher Education ranking

Lund University has climbed from #98 to #96 in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2020, once again securing a place among the top 100 universities in the world.

The ranking includes almost 1,400 universities across 92 countries, placing Lund University in the top 0.4 per cent of the universities included.

THE uses 13 performance indicators that are grouped into five areas:

  • Teaching (the learning environment)
  • Research (volume, income and reputation)
  • Citations (research influence)
  • International outlook (staff, students and research)
  • Industry Income (knowledge transfer).
